The ground rules.

The agreement

NatureMatter.org (“NatureMatter”, “we”) provides a platform for sharing good deeds. These terms govern your use of it. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter this agreement where you live.
• Provide accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone or create accounts to evade a suspension.

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you post.
• You grant NatureMatter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and share your published content on the platform and in materials that promote it, for as long as the content remains on the platform.
• You confirm that your posts are truthful, that the media is yours to share, and that recognisable people in it have consented.
• Deleting a post or your account ends this licence, apart from copies that have already been shared by others or that remain briefly in backups.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow the community guidelines, and not to:

• Post false, staged, copied, unlawful, harassing or harmful content.
• Manipulate reactions, awards or rankings, or use automated tools to create accounts or content.
• Probe, disrupt or bypass the security of the service, or access data that isn't yours.
• Scrape the service or reuse other members' content without their permission.

Moderation

We review submissions before publication and may decline, remove or restrict content and accounts that break these terms or the guidelines. We record the reason and tell you. You can appeal. A published post has been reviewed against our guidelines; we do not independently verify the events or outcomes members describe.

Awards and prizes

• Awards are discretionary recognition, judged against the rubric published for each award period and shown on the recipient's profile. Judges' and administrators' decisions are final, subject to the appeals process.
• Prizes, where offered, are described with each award. They may vary by period, depend on availability and location, and require you to provide details needed for delivery.
• You are responsible for any taxes or legal requirements that apply to a prize where you live.
• We may withhold or withdraw an award if an entry is found to break the guidelines.

Your safety

You take part in any real-world activity at your own risk and are responsible for doing it safely and lawfully. NatureMatter does not organise, supervise or insure the activities members describe. Never take risks, handle dangerous animals or enter unsafe places for the sake of a post.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of member content. To the extent the law allows, NatureMatter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or from activities undertaken by members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

Ending use

You can stop using NatureMatter and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform grows. When changes are significant we will update the date above and notify members in the app. Questions can be sent to the support address.
